A POWERED LEGO TRAIN SET.
My mom gave it to my little brother when he was probably 6 and it’s been in the attic for years. I’m excited to see if it still works.

cool! they haven’t made those for years! a quick Google indicates it was released in 1996, discontinued ~2000ish NIB sells for $500+, “with box and instructions” sells for ~$175-250 depending on box and general condition. Thats a pretty valuable set!

DUDE.
As the original owner of a set, I can assure you that it will still work after being dormant for so many years.

That’s probably worth a lot. Vintage legos are so in right now.

That is super hot. My family just too a weekend vacation and the cabin we stayed at had a bunch of Legos in the living room. Many hours were spend building cars and houses, and dinosaurs.

I’m also excited. Lego trains were the thing I wanted most as a kid that I never got.

I never got into Lego trains, which has likely saved me a TON of money. I’m still a huge Lego nerd, but just not one w/ a Lego train affliction.
